Sunforce 50048 may have to very well be one of the more efficiently working solar panels I’ve come across in awhile. It’s straightforward, easy to set up and performs well enough to make the investment worth it. I’ve had the Sunforce 50048 solar panels now for about 5 months and so far so good. I’ve noticed a considerable amount of decrease in my overall electric bills and the panels are really great for the amount of energy we consume on a day to day basis.

I read in a previous Sunforce 50048 review that the PVC eventually wears out after years of use from sun exposure and weather conditions, so you should apply some coat of Krylon Fusion Dover White Plastic Satin Spray Paint before mounting it on the roof. This will help prevent the PVC from becoming weak and brittle.

The 200 watt inverter allows you to use common small appliances with a 110 Volt output. My wife likes this a lot because it allows her to be able to use her blow dryer, flat iron, and hot rollers with the panels. I think because my wife is able to do her hair regiments everyday without consuming a ton of electricity may be one of many reasons why our bills have gone down. I didn’t realize it took the power of the sun to get her hair looking decent. Now I know.
