After receipt of Green DIY Energy I looked at the materials list and used their checklist and proceeded to go out and purchase them. The final tally of the costs came to $128.63. I found everything at the local hardware store and the local electronics store.

Which Solar Panel DIY Guide Is Best: Green DIY Energy, Earth 4 Energy Or Power4Home Pro 2.0?
First of all, Green DIY Energy is absolutely worth the money ($49.95). The package incorporates DVD quality videos, over 200 pages of pdf ebooks, and Excel spreadsheets – 17 components in most. However, I still tend to favorize Earth4 Energy. (I recommend reading my full review at Earth4Energy Review) Why? Because it was the first solar energy DIY guide and it already has a history. All other guides are just copies of the original. In addition you will get even more videos and some more bonus ebooks. Nevertheless I have to be honest and tell you that both guides are very good and both will teach you step by step how to build a solar panel or wind turbine.

And what about Power4Home Pro 2.0?
Well, this is another good DIY product. However, it does not offer as many videos etc. as the other both guides do. However, there are several things Power4Home offers that the other two do not offer.
